Birko is gearing up for the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE), which will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center, January 28 – 30. IPPE is the world’s largest annual display of technology, equipment, supplies, and services used in the production and processing of eggs, meat, and poultry. More than 32,000 industry leaders attend this show, and Birko is excited to be exhibiting once again in 2020, as well as sponsor the annual Food Safety Council Meeting.
Here’s what to expect at this year’s expo.
IPPE’s Show Floor
This year, IPPE is making room for more than 1,400 exhibitors. There new products and technologies to see, but you’ll want to make a point to meet with the Birko team while you’re there.
Visit Booth B7519 in the Food Safety Pavilion. Birko will be highlighting its newest technology under the Protection with Precision™ suite to target bacteria, reduce chemical and water use, and lower labor costs.
Birko will introduce the new Head and Tongue Wash. It’s patented technology effectively cleans heads and tongues while reducing up to 60 percent in water consumption.
Birko will also showcase the Elite 360® system, a groundbreaking electrostatic intervention technology that is proven to achieve up to a 2-log reduction, as well as reduce chemical consumption by up to 80 percent. Additionally, Birko will present the Birko by Lagafors® automated sanitation system that will cut operating expenses by up to 35 percent by using less water, chemical, and labor.
Networking and Educational Opportunities at IPPE
The expo offers many IPPE events for opportunities to network and make new connections. Arrive early to attend the Meat Hall of Fame induction ceremony and dinner on Monday, January 27.
Be sure to stop by the Innovation Station at BC439 between Tuesday, January 28 and Thursday, January 30, where exhibitors will showcase their newest technologies in the industry. Attendees are encouraged to vote on the best innovation, so don’t miss this new opportunity!
While you’ll be occupied with many activities, attendees will get the most value from educational events scheduled during the show.
