We also have expertise in helping food processing companies meet HACCP food safety protocols, as well as Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).

That’s why we feel so strongly here at Birko about the importance of proactive food safety programs. One such new market is the produce industry, which is facing a similar level of scrutiny and regulatory oversight as the meat processing industry. The implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) will require almost all food processors to develop and implement HACCP plans, as well as adopt appropriate good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Birko is ready to help with both sanitation and pathogen reduction operations.
